Hosting a meat raffle is a lot of work. We would like to make your job a little easier. We produce Meat Money, a substitute for the thousands of one dollar bills you handle when hosting a meat raffle.

What is Meat Money?

  • Meat Money is printed on premium copy paper available in several colors.

  • The paper is perforated to make separating the bills very easy.

  • Meat Money is customizable. You determine the denomination and color of the Meat Money. Custom text is available with an extra charge.

  • Available in two sizes, 10 bills per page and 20 bills per page.

Why use Meat Money?

  • Before a traditional meat raffle, the organizer has to obtain thousands of dollars in $1 bills so that they can sell bills to their attendees.

  • The organizer has to find a secure location to store the bills until raffle day.

  • The organizer has to separate the bills into piles of $10 or $20 so the cashier can easily sell the bills at the raffle.

  • During the raffle, cashiers are inundated with $1 bills being brought to them by your ticket sellers each round at the same time attendees are trying to buy packets of $1 bills.

  • After the raffle, you again have to deal with sorting, counting and securely storing the bills until the bank opens on Monday.

  • At the bank, you have to wait patiently as the teller recounts the bills for deposit.

  • Meat Money eliminates all of that!

How does it work?

  • You sell sheets (or partial sheets) of Meat Money bills to your attendees, using cash, PayPal, Venmo or whichever payment processor you choose.

  • Each sheet contains 10 or 20 Meat Money bills. If you sell 100 sheets of 20 bills, that’s 2,000 Meat Money bills! If your denomination is $2 per Meat Money bill, this replaces 4,000 one-dollar bills! 100 sheets of 10 bills will replace 1,000 bills.

  • Attendees separate the perforated Meat Money bills as needed to pay for meat rounds, rather than using $1 bills. They hold up the Meat Money for the ticket sellers, just like they do with $1 bills.

  • Ticket sellers simply collect one Meat Money bill per ticket and don’t have to worry about counting the number of $1 bills a person is holding up. You can use different color Meat Money for different denominations if needed.

  • After the first few rounds when bills are collected, sellers can re-sell the individual bills.

Meat Money is convenient, customizable and affordable:

  • You can customize the look of the Meat Money bill. Add your organization name or other text and choose the color of the perforated paper and the ink. And during this introductory period customization is only $10 for your total order.

  • Our paper is premium 28 lb. bond paper, perforated to produce 20 bills per sheet small format) or 10 bills per sheet (large format), and available in several colors (currently white, cream, yellow and red).

  • You determine the denomination of the bill. If tickets for your rounds are $2 each, the Meat Money denomination should be $2.

  • If tickets for your rounds are not all the same price, you have a few options:

    • Use different color Meat Money sheets for each denomination,

    • Have all denominations on one sheet but use different colored ink for each denomination of Meat Money so sellers can tell which denomination is being used,

    • Allow the use of Meat Money and $1 bills (Example: if your bills are worth $2 each but a round is $3, attendees can use one Meat Money bill and one $1 bill).

    • Price your rounds as multiples of a denomination (Example: rounds of $2, $4 and $6 can all use $2 Meat Money bills).

  • Small Meat Money costs just $40 for 100 sheets. That’s 2,000 Meat Money bills! If your denomination is $2 per Meat Money bill, this replaces 4,000 one-dollar bills!

  • Large Meat Money costs just $35 for 100 sheets. That’s 1,000 Meat Money bills! If your bills are $2 each, this replaces 2,000 one-dollar bills!
